Salt, sand and old grease wreck a fishing reel's smoothness and, left in, corrode the internals. A full service strips the reel down, ultrasonically cleans every component to flush salt and grit from the bearings and gears, then re-lubricates and reassembles it to run like new — essential after a season of sea fishing on the Costa Blanca.
